Learning Opportunities for Health Professionals
The Center offers valuable support services for health professionals.
Ronald E. Hunninghake, M.D., Rebecca K. Kirby, M.D., M.S., R.D., and Chad Krier, N.D., D.C. are the medical doctors at The Center for Healing Arts, the clinical division of The Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning International. They work with other primary care physicians to help solve the
mysteries of illness.
Our Orthomolecular Approach to Chronic Illness
Orthomolecular is a term that comes from ortho, which is Greek for "correct" or "right," and molecule, which is the simplest structure that displays the characteristics of a compound. So it literally means the "right molecule."
Orthomolecular medicine describes the practice of preventing and treating disease by providing the body with optimal amounts of substances which are natural to the body.
